University of Florida

As a public institution of higher studies, University of Florida was established in 1853. It has long history of traditional programs in global learning, research and service. It is also known as only 17 public universities which come under the Association of American University. It has ranked 58 in the 2012 edition of best colleges of national universities.
 
The university has campus of 2000 acre and more than 900 building which consists of 170 classrooms and laboratories. The historic region on the national register of historic places is situated at northeast corner of the campus. The university has residential areas with the capacity of approximate 7500 students and five family residential blocks which facilitate accommodation to 1000 married and bachelors students.

Total of 32660 undergraduate students are enrolled in the university of florida. The academic calendar of UF is semester-wise. Its extensive education departments cover about 610 bachelor's students, 400 master's students, 130 doctoral students and 32 tenure-track faculty members. According to dean, it has proposed to cut 20 percent of budget and give suggestions to students to move them from current department to hardware department. The student can receive also software degree.

There are several of well accepted graduate and undergraduate programs which are providing in diverse department of studies well through the Levin College of Law, Hough Graduate School of Business, school of engineering, and the College of Medicine. The university is also incorporated with retirement group of people of Oak Hammock, where students can work, complete their internships in health sciences and can also find mentors.
