Federal University of Rio De Janeiro shortly known as UFRJ is public university of Brazil which is widely recognized for its higher quality of education as well as prominent place in research programs. The UFRJ was established in 1920 by president, congregation with the several independent public institution of higher education in the city.
It has four high standard campuses in Rio de Janeiro such as Cidade Universitaria, Praia Vermelha, Macae and Xerem, which is involved of several institutes, faculties, museums, university hospitals, business incubators, and an ocean basin for research on offshore oil searching.
The institution robustly believes in building of intercultural environment which not only help in fostering academic bonds, but also strengthen the closeness among the people by cheering the intelligence of respect. The universidade federal do rio de janeiro is currently providing higher level of 156 undergraduate courses, 94 postgraduate courses, 75 doctorate programs, 112 extension projects and 315 sensu lato graduate courses. Approximate 353999 undergraduate, 5745 postgraduate, 4804 doctorate, 5281 e-learning students are currently learning in the university. The university has total staffs of 3953 professors and researchers and 8886 technical administrative employees.
The institution keeps up their strong relation with over 170 global institutions and with their cooperative programs; they try to provide excellence learning to student. It has also companionship with many enterprises, which facilitates also on the UFRJ campus and its science park also motivates closer knowledge amongst students, professors and enterprises. All these traits strengthen the dynamic role in development of science and technology and provide support in innovation of UFRJ.
