The university of Santiago de Chile, shortly known as USACH, is one of the oldest and traditional universities. As the prominent institutions of higher education, it was established in 1849 named as Scholl of Arts and Crafts with the aim of educating professional for national development. With the commitment of social responsibility and social inclusion, the university has made able thousands of brilliant youthful people with limited resources, admission to quality education and superiority in education.

It also gives big contribution in community outreach and offers full season of concerts and cultural programs such as exhibitions, lectures, theater, folk music an only planetarium in the country.
